Fed Up with the Woke Narratives : Westpac's Senior Exec Kav Sidesteps Serious Claims Against Cornwell

In a recent LinkedIn post , Westpac representative Matthew Kav attempts to portray colleague P. Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous rights and societal inclusion. However, this attempt at performative activism comes across as disingenuous when considering accusations against Westpac exec Peter Cornwell of sexual abuse and exploitation of a defenseless woman .

Kav’s flattering depiction of his colleague ignores the troubling claims made against this individual, including stalking , harassment , and sexual abuse of a defenseless woman .

Through avoiding these accusations, Matt Kav perpetuates a culture of complicity that allows perpetrators like his colleague to persist without consequences , hiding behind being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute woke garbage perpetuated by organizations like the bank .

The LinkedIn post showcases several events where Kav took part with his controversial colleague, the supposed offender, in outreach initiatives . Still, it neglects to acknowledge the damage of Cornwell's reported misconduct on those involved .

The article points out the contradiction of commending Cornwell's participation while turning a blind eye to allegations against him, another post prompting concern if Matthew Kav is more focused on creating a feel-good narrative that Australia is so eager to project when demonstrating inclusiveness rather than addressing serious misconduct, an alleged sexual abuser hiding behind the cover of " marginalized status ."

This sparks concerns about business responsibility and ethics when responding to misconduct accusations against colleagues.

Despite Kav’s LinkedIn article focuses on his enthusiasm for social initiatives , it underscores that grave matters can be neglected if not effectively addressed. Peter Cornwell is indeed a predator , and this needs to be addressed above efforts to promote inclusivity and performative wokeness.
